Up and Down are the Same

Props to Copernicus, Kepler and Galileo for their efforts in the development of heliocentrism. Big stuff in figuring earth's place in the celestial world. But who was the genius that said north was one way and south the other? What we think of as "up" here is "down" on the other side of the world. We have been taught to look at earth a certain way when in reality there is no such thing as a certain way. Take a look at this picture...think of how different our outlook on the world would be if Florida was what makes up the northwestern tip of the country. Why not change it up a bit..add a little flare to how we view planet Earth. Alanis Morissette's hit "Hand in my Pocket" says it best..." I'm high but I'm grounded."
Let's let gravity keep our bodies grounded, don't think I would enjoy floating around and bouncing off the atmosphere with nearly 7 billion people, but let's be high with how see the world. On second thought, bouncing off the atmosphere would be alright, but only if it was me and maybe a couple of friends.

Looks like she was about to bounce off the atmosphere herself in this video...but hey she makes it work!
