If it needs a leash, it's probably not your best friend anyway. Dogs are not meant to be walked. Every time I see a person with their often times over-sized rodent that they perceive to be a dog, it kills me. What's worse is when I see middle aged men doing it and their wife is walking next to them. It honestly makes me wonder what could have possible gone wrong.
When I think of a dog, I think of something at least 21 times bigger than your average rodent, something that belongs outside, serves an actual purpose and preferably feeds itself. From there on out they are merely animals kept for pleasure, used to satisfy vanity.
